Factsheet: cement and bulk materials
Every year, World Cement publishes the Bulk Materials Handling Review, a special supplement devoted to materials handling in and around cement plants, quarries, terminals and ports.
A number of case studies from around the world are included in the 2014 issue, from dust-free loading chutes in Belgium to air cannons in a US cement plant. Weigh modules, self-unloaders and conveying solutions are amongst the other topics to be featured, including an article by Sytze Brouwers, Chief Application Engineer, Fenner Dunlop BV (Dunlop Conveyor Belting), on fire retardant conveyor belts.
