ThyssenKrupp Polysius receives new orders

The Solnhofer Portland-Zementwerke has contracted ThyssenKrupp Polysius to install the state-of-the-art laboratory automation system, POLAB Shuttle, in its existing laboratory rooms.
In addition to the mobile robot, the system will include a capsule receiving module, two POLAB APM sample preparation devices, an XRF sample analysis spectrometer, an XRD X-ray diffractometer and an automatic Blaine measuring device. An existent colorimeter will also be incorporated into the system.
The POLAB Shuttle’s advantages include its flexible layout, modular expansion capability and shared working space for man and machine.
Mangalam Cement
For its new cement grinding plant, Mangalam Cement Ltd has selected a grinding system from ThyssenKrupp Polysius.
The new grinding plant is to be installed in Aligarh near New Delhi in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is to be a combi-grinding system consisting of POLYCOM high-pressure grinding roll with two 1060 kW drive units, a SEPOL-PC high-efficiency separator and a 3.6 m x 8 m ball mill with a drive power of 1300 kW. The grinding plant will have a rated cement output of 150 tph.
