Polysius to supply grinding plants

World Cement,

Polysius has received an order from Birla Corp. Ltd for three new cement grinding plants for the Chanderia Cement plant in the province of Rajasthan, as well as for Satna Cement in the province of Madhy Pradesh.

Supplying India
The two plants installed at the Chanderia factory will each be equipped with a POLYCOM® high-pressure grinding roll with 2 x 1450 kW drives and a SEPOL®-PC separator. The POLYCOM® units are to be installed upstream of the ball mills that are already in place at the factory. Grinding plant no.1 has a capacity of 315 tph, while plant no.2 has a rated cement output of 325 tph.

The Satna factory will also receive a POLYCOM® high-pressure grinding roll with 2 x 1450 kW drives and a SEPOL®-PC separator. In combination with the existing ball mill, the POLYCOM® will increase the grinding plant’s cement output to 330 tph.

In Germany
Elsewhere, Zement und Kalkwerke Otterbein GmbH & Co. KG, Germany, has contracted Polysius for the supply and installation of a new grinding plant at the Großenlüder-Müs facility. The scope of the contract includes a 3.4 m x 10.1 m two-compartment mill equipped with a 1600 kW COMBIFLEX® drive.

Together with the installed SEPOL® separator, the tube mill will help to satisfy market demands - in particular, finer cements with suitable granulometric compositions.
