Heidelberg Materials strengthens footprint in Italy by acquiring Cava Nord S.r.l.

Heidelberg Materials has acquired Cava Nord S.r.l., a family-owned company based in Paderno Dugnano, north of Milan in Italy.
Founded in 1962, Cava Nord specialises in the supply of aggregates and ready-mixed concrete as well as recycling construction and demolition waste. The transaction includes a quarry, two aggregates processing facilities, an aggregates recycling facility, and two ready-mixed concrete plants.
The acquisition is part of Heidelberg Materials’ ongoing portfolio optimisation. It strengthens the company’s vertical market integration in an attractive core market and enhances its supply of sustainable solutions.
Both parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction.
