Cemex EMEA launches Prime family of advanced admixtures solutions

Cemex introduce its new Prime range of advanced admixtures to the EMEA market, marking the latest stage in a comprehensive evolution of its admixtures portfolio.
This product family, set to be available across Cemex’s regional and global markets will enable a significant reduction in carbon emissions in cement and concrete and is designed to provide customers with comprehensive, bespoke, and more sustainable solutions for construction, enabling better building.
Prime admixtures have been produced by utilising innovative formulations and leveraging advanced chemical technologies. This has enabled a lower carbon footprint in concrete and cement, whilst ensuring premium and robust performance, through incorporating lower CO2 cements, recycled materials, and supplementary cementitious materials.
Dietmar Voetsch, Director of Admixtures for Cemex Europe, said: “Admixtures are essential components in modern construction. Customers can experience the unique difference with Cemex’s admixtures, engineered and rigorously tested to enhance the quality and durability of ready-mix, precast, and cement. Additionally, there is a strong focus on sustainability, with performance improvements in lower carbon cements, concrete production, and decarbonisation. Admixtures is a key part of Cemex’s Urbanisation Solutions product portfolio, which is constantly innovating to provide customers with a broad range of more sustainable solutions to help meet the challenges of modern urbanisation safely.
