Dr Manfred Bracher resigns from RKW board

Dr Manfred Bracher, Member of RKW’s Executive Management Board, is to resign from his position, effective from 30 June 2019, in order to pursue new professional opportunities. The Supervisory Board has accepted Bracher’s request for early termination. Over the past years, Bracher has made a significant contribution to the growth of RKW’s international business and its sites.
Bracher began his professional career as a project leader at the Austrian Lenzing Group, followed by 12 years at the Finnish packaging manufacturer Huhtamaki, where he held various positions, the latest of which was General Manager of Films. From 2008 to 2013, he served as Managing Director at Clopay Europe GmbH.
Bracher has been a member of the RKW SE Board since January 2014 and leads the Hygiene and Industrial Division. In addition, he is also responsible for Operational Excellence and Purchasing. Following Bracher’s resignation, RKW’s CEO, Harald Biederbick, will take over these responsibilities until further notice.
On behalf of the company, Dr Rudolf Wehrli, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, has expressed his gratitude to Bracher for his valuable services as a member of the Executive Board and wishes him the best for his future.
