Gebr. Pfeiffer receives follow-up order for Turkey
After the successful commissioning of its three Pfeiffer vertical roller mills in 2009, Turkey-based Kahramanmaras Cimento (KÇS) placed a follow-up order in June 2011 for the supply of another three identical vertical roller mills, which will be set up at its Kahramanmaras works’ new production line no. The deal will see Gebr. Pfeiffer SE supply a raw mill, a coal mill and a cement mill including spare parts over the next 12 months. Moreover, erection and commissioning on site will be supervised by Gebr. Pfeiffer’s staff.
The MPS 4500 B raw mill with an installed power of 3400 kW is guaranteed to attain a capacity of 400 tph of cement raw material at a product fineness of 12% R 90 microns.
The MPS 2800 BK coal mill, with an installed power of 675 kW is designed to grind 37 tph of petroleum coke to a fineness of 2% R 90 microns.
The MPS 4750 BC cement mill with an installed power of 4000 kW is rated to produce 180 tph of CEM I with 3600 Blaine as well as 130-150 tph of the cement grades CEM II A, CEM II B and CEM IV B, each with 4600 Blaine.
The decision to again order equipment from Gebr. Pfeiffer SE is based on the customer’s positive experience in terms of performance and reliability with the industrial mills installed in its production line no. 1.
