A representative delegation from one of China’s largest building materials corporations, Conch, met with Eurocement in Russia. At the meeting, which was held in the central office of the Eurocement group, the group’s president Mikhail Skorokhod updated the Chinese representatives on the key projects of the group and discussed possible areas of cooperation.
"CONCH has the most modern equipment for the production of cement and has considerable experience in operating production lines. For the Eurocement Group, it is extremely interesting to study these experiences in detail, as well as to consider the possibility of its use for the development of the national building materials industry in Russia,” said Mikhail Skorokhod. “I am convinced that our Chinese counterparts would also be interested in getting acquainted with the activities of the Russian leader of the cement industry, and this meeting will be the beginning of a fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation. "
The programme that has been put together for the duration of the Chinese delegation’s visit includes visits to a number of Eurocement plants.
