ARVOS Group stands alone

ARVOS Group, a leading manufacturer of regenerative heat exchangers, has become a standalone corporation with Triton as its new shareholder. 

The former Alstom Auxiliary Components business, which manufactures heat exchangers for thermal power generation facilities, process critical applications in the chemical and petrochemical industry and grinding mills, generated revenues of more than €400 million in the last fiscal year and employs 1700 people worldwide. Its headquarters will be relocated from Mannheim to Heidelberg, Germany.

“As a standalone company, we are able to focus more effectively on strengthening our global market-and technology leadership position in order to enhance thermal power plants through sustainable energy efficiency and the chemical industry through innovation,” said ARVOS Group CEO, Thorsten Holl.

The corporation operates the following divisions:

  • The LJUNGSTRÖM Division and its products serve the thermal power plant market with two key applications: Air Preheaters and Gas-Gas heaters. More than 15 000 Ljungström® air preheaters are supplied globally.
  • The SCHMIDTSCHE SCHACK Division serves the petrochemical, chemical and metallurgical industry with process critical heat transfer solutions such as Transfer Line Exchangers, Waste Heat Steam Generators and High Temperature Products. More than 7000 Schmidt´sche® Transfer Line Exchangers are operating around the globe.
  • With a vast portfolio of more than 300 products the RAYMOIND BARTLETT SNOW Division conveying mills below 100 MW in various industrial application. The Division has thousands of references.
