World Cement,
Eurocement’s Lipetskcement has completed its maintenance campaign, which took place from November 2014 to May 2015. During this time, the packaging line, which had run uninterrupted since its installation in 2007, was upgraded and kiln 3 was refurbished. Cement mills 6 – 8 were also repaired and new separators installed. A new portable XRF analyser from Bruker was also commissioned.
The repairs have been completed in time for the peak construction season, when the plant typically runs at full capacity.
Eurocement has been carrying out a programme of upgrade and modernisation projects across its plants. Most recently, Mordovcement has completed a reconstruction project on two lines that increases efficiency and throughput.
