Mikhailovcement and Nevyanskiy Cementnik see increased production in April 2014

Eurocement’s Mikhailovcement showed steady production growth in both April 2014 and in the first four months of 2014 compared to the same period last year. In April, the company produced 102300 t of clinker and 151 300 t of cement, up by 22.1% (18 500 t) and 31.6% (36 300 t), respectively, compared to April 2013.
Clinker production in January – April 2014 amounted to 350 900 t and cement production stood at 410 500 t. These figures represent a 32.3% (85 700 t) and 6.1% (23 600 t) increase, respectively, compared to the first four months of 2013.
During April 2014, Mikhailovcement shipped its customers 155 067 t of high quality and environmentally friendly cement and 420 573 t of cement was shipped during the first four months of 2014. These figures exceed those of the previous year by 19.7% (25 562 t) and 3% (12 115 t), respectively.
Nevyanskiy Cementnik
Nevyanskiy Cementnik, part of the Eurocement Group, produced 98 017 t of cement in April 2014, a 16% (13 270 t) increase compared to April 2013.
During the reporting period, Nevyanskiy Cementnik shipped its customers 98 316 t of cement, which exceeded the figure recorded in the same period a year earlier by 1% (1282 t). The company has also seen a steady growth in shipments of bagged cement. According to the results recorded in April 2014, shipments of bagged cement stood at 13 878 t, an increase of 5% (598 t) against April 2013.
