Within the framework of the Green Capital programme, representatives of all divisions of Belgorod Cement, led by CEO Eduard Androsov, with the participation of students from the Belgorod Engineering College, planted 2000 acacia seedlings in the Polygon quarry, Russia.
Belgorod Cement is systematically conducting work on biological reclamation in the quarry. The EUROCEMENT group holding aims to pay great attention to environmental issues. During quarrying, the soil and plant layer is first removed, stored separately, and used for subsequent reclamation, which is a part of the environmental protection and landscape restoration measures.
