CTP Team reports a strong presence in Pakistan
Published by Lucy Stewardson,
For the cement sector, Pakistan is one of the most growing domestic markets in Asia. The country has new restricted regulations on the emissions produced in industrial processes, as well as growing pressure on environmental impact from both government authorities and public opinion.
CTP Team offers a wide range of products to meet customer needs, including a CTP waste heat recovery (WHR) system, which is based on ORC technology without water consumption and uses an advanced bag filter cleaning system based on the best available technology. The CTP Pulse-jet technology, in particular, guarantees emissions lower than 5 mg/Nm3.
CTP Team has had a presence in Pakistan for many years. Popular Cement and Cherat Cement have both chosen CTP for its background of innovation and control of emissions, which results from expertise in de-dusting and air filtration systems. Popular Cement has also noted CTP Team’s conversion to bag filters. Cherat Cement also had a need to comply with new environmental limits and chose CTP Technology for its conversion to bag filters for its second kiln EPs in Nowshera, Pakistan.
In 2016, the government authority awarded Power Cement Ltd for its conversion of kiln and cooler EPs of lines K1 and K2 to bag filters, which was carried out by CTP Team. CTP Team’s advanced de-dusting system also reduces dust emissions to lower than 20 mg/Nm3. This is better than that specified by both the Environment Quality Standard of Pakistan and the emission limit value of the World Bank for plant cement.
CTP Team is also close to local customers in Pakistan through a network of local representatives and collaboration with local suppliers for spare parts, inspection, supervision, monitoring, and retrofit.
CTP Team is a leading engineering and manufacturing company with 50 years of experience in cement plant components such as air pollution control systems, dust collectors, filtration equipment, chemical treatments, heat exchangers, and WHR.
