Production has recovered after a slow start to the year with both March and April showing year-on-year growth.

On the sales side, the domestic market was relatively strong, showing year-on-year growth of 4% to 3.40 million t. This more than offset a fall in export, which were down 4.5% at 0.87 million t.

Total sales were up 2.1% at 4.27 million t.
