On 25 March, Sinoma Tianjin signed project management, the last part of the Shree Digvijay project with Votorantim, which signifies the company signed its first EPC contract in India.

This project aims to upgrade Shree Digvijay’s coal mill facility at the cement plant in Gujarat State. A tube mill will replace the existing mill to grind petcoke, increasing production and reducing consumption by using petcoke with high calorific value instead of inferior coal.

The total contract value is US$4.5 million. Sinoma-owned LNVT is in charge of local procurement, electric and automatic supply and civil construction, which is worth US$2.01 million.

The signing of this project provides a more effective model to explore the Indian market, taking advantage of Sinoma’s experience in EPC general contracting and the benefits of LNVT for local procurement.
