Mongolian cement project on track

A site visit has been carried out by representatives of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM), China United Cement Corporation (CUCC) and Beijing Triumph International Engineering Co. Ltd (CTIEC) to check construction progress at the 1 million tpa MongoliaMengxin Bayin Gala Co. Ltd cement plant project. The funding for the new plant came from CUCC and China Triumph International Engineering has been granted the EPC contract.

With the return of the warm weather in May, construction resumed and CTIEC has been working closely with Mengxin company to coordinate on personnel issues, equipment delivery and other matters. As of mid-August, in accordance with the plan, the first phase of the grinding system construction, installation and construction was completed, conditions of commissioning and production were fulfilled and single commissioning started. All subitems of the second phase of clinker production line were moving forward as planned.

CUCC is a subsidiary of China National Building Materials Group Corporation and this cement plant project marks the group’s first investment outside of China.
