JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd has been recognised at an ‘Admired 100 Asia’ awards ceremony in New Delhi. The awards are part of a VWP initiative to celebrate renowned brands that have demonstrated high levels of reliability and sustainability. Brands are selected from a number of Asian countries, with research supported by White Page International and Ernst and Young as process advisors.
The Indian cement manufacturer won in the ‘Infrastructure’ category for its brand value proposition, marketing connect and innovation.
JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd reported a 31% y/y increase in profit for the quarter ended 31 December 2014. Sales volumes and revenues were also up, rising by 6% and 10.3% y/y, respectively.
