Yoo Gyeong CM awarded its first contract for its KyungNam terminal to Loesche GmbH.
To grind the granulated blast furnace slag, the customer will use an LM 41.2+2 CS type Loesche mill with a capacity of 90 tph at 4500 Blaine as a reliable unit. The gearbox of this mill has a power output of 2800 kW.
Moreover, the scope of supply for this order includes the filter, the fan and the hot gas generator. All of the equipment is to be delivered in 6 - 9 months time and the Loesche mill is to be put into operation as early as October 2016.
The customer, Yoo Gyeong CM Company, owns gravel works which it has equipped with its own cement mixing and loading terminals. The customer is currently purchasing ground slag to operate its plants. By using the Loesche vertical roller mill, the customer will be able to use the cheaper granulated slag in future.
