World Cement,

In Vietnam, the 5000 tpd Tonglin project contracted to TCDRI, China, has issued the provisional acceptance certificate (PAC). This indicates that the project has been handed over to the owner, having passed inspection. The final acceptance certificate (FAC) will be issued after a few final issues are settled.

The Tonglin contract was originally signed in August 2009. TCDRI were entrusted with engineering of the entire production line, from limestone crushing to cement packaging, supply and delivery of equipment, two years spare parts, technical service, commissioning, performance tests, training and production technical supervision. The owner was in charge of civil construction and equipment installation. Construction began in May 2010 and installation started in September 2012. The kiln was ignited on 1 October 2014 and performance tests for the clinker production line were completed on 30 November and for the cement mill on 15 December.
