Reliance Cement expands market reach

World Cement,


Through its subsidiary Reliance Cement Company Private Ltd (RCC), Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RInfra) has expanded into the Amravati cement market in Maharashtra, India. The foray into the new market follows the commercial launch of Reliance Cement into the markets in Nagpur and Wardha in September 2012. The Portland pozzollona cement is manufactured at RCC’s Butibori plant in Maharashtra.

Reliance Cement is constructing two cement plants with connected satellite grinding plants. The plants, which will be located in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, will each have a capacity of 5 million t.
