China Resources Cement Holdings set to buy two new plants
China Resources Cement Holdings Ltd plans to spend some RMB 830 million in acquiring two cement plants located in Fujian Province.
The first plant, in the Longyan region of the province, with two 1.4 million t clinker lines and three 2.4 million t grinding lines, will be bought for RMB 775 million. The second plant, located in the Quanzhou region, will cost approximately RMB 55 million and boasts a 600 000 t cement line.
China Resources Cement is also in the process of constructing a new facility in Fujian, which should become operational in June 2011. The complex will include a 1.55 million t dry process clinker line and two 1.9 million t cement lines.
