“Considering that Vietnam is the largest market in terms of cement production capacity in our dynamic and growing AP region, I am convinced of the success of this strategic move to bundle our activities in Vietnam. In our new regional HQ we bring together technical experts from Germany, Singapore and Thailand. This localisation investment close to key clients will further leverage the already existing competences and capabilities in Hanoi,” says Pablo Hofelich, CEO of thyssenkrupp’s Cement Technologies.
In addition to the new Headquarter in Hanoi the company has other offices in Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. The Vietnam office, with more than 80 employees, hosts one of the largest engineering centres of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG with a long track record of successful projects.
“Building our 40 years heritage on Vietnam, we are focusing on know-how transfer and developing localised solutions that are tailored to the requirements of the local markets in Asia Pacific. On the other hand, we will expand our service to strengthen our local footprint and proximity to clients. Last but not least, we offer sustainable cement production solutions under thyssenkrupp’s #grey2green umbrella to help our clients reduce emission and fossil fuel and make cement plants smarter and more efficient”, said Lukas Schoeneck, CEO of Cement Business in Asia Pacific.
