Chinese cement company, CNBM, has announced its Chairman, Song Zhiping, will step down at the next annual general meeting to be held on 13 June 2018. Zhiping has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since March 2005.

Zhiping has been “guiding the company […] with his excellent strategic vision and outstanding management intelligent, which has turned the company into an integrated building materials group”. Last year, CNBM merged with rival building materials group, Sinoma, to form the world largest cement producer.
