Al Sager Cement invests in capacity expansion
Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce has confirmed its commitment to supporting the development of the country’s private sector. In light of economic growth and a rise in construction activity, some of Bahrain’s manufacturing companies, including Al Sager Cement Factory, are investing in increasing their production capacities to meet demand.
Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr Hassan Fakhro, recently held a meeting with the CEO of Al Sager Cement Factory, Salah Shareef, and the CEO of Balexco, Jassim Seyadi, to learn more about the firms’ expansion plans. Al Sager Cement is increasing its production capacity to 825 000 tpa. New equipment for the expansion project is due to arrive next month, in line with a contract signed with Thailand’s LV Technology.
