CTIEC wins contract for new Indonesian cement plant

On 25 October, China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd (CTIEC) and GITI Group signed an EPC agreement for a 6000 tpd hydrated cement production line project. Peng Shou, Chairman of CTIEC, and Wu Aiqing, Vice President of the Board of Directors of GITI Group, attended the signing ceremony.
GITI Group, headquartered in Singapore, is a large and diversified multinational company, which has more than 80 enterprises in China, Singapore, Indonesia and other countries, with businesses including tyre manufacturing, mining, finance, real estate, hotels and department stores. The new cement project is located in Semarang City, Java, Indonesia. The production line is a 6000 tpd hydrated cement production line adopting 5.2 x 74 m rotary kiln with preheater and decomposing furnace. At present, the geological exploration work has been completed and the design work has been started. Construction is expected to be launched this year. On completion, the plant will produce 2.1 million tpa of Portland cement.
