PT Loesche Indonesia successfully launched in Jakarta

Loesche invited customers and potential business partners to an introduction seminar and the official inauguration of its new office in Indonesia to mark the successful launch of Jakarta-based subsidiary, PT Loesche Indonesia. The office has been in full operation since January 2014.

The service hub focuses on plant modernisation and spare part supply, as well as onsite support with a variety of services for audits, maintenance, installation and commissioning activities in the entire Indonesian region. Loesche has been operating in the Indonesian market for more than 40 years and is now keen to focus on closer client relationships and faster reaction times for the benefit of the local market.

In celebration of the successful launch of the new subsidiary, a one-day seminar took place in the Le Meridien Hotel in Jakarta on 27 March 2014. During the seminar, the portfolio of the Loesche Group was introduced, as well as the activities of PT Loesche Indonesia. High-ranking members of the Indonesian cement industry and a wide audience from the coal-mining sector were in attendance.

In addition to the well-known and world leading technology in the cement grinding sector, Loesche has also introduced the newly patented coal enhancement process, which attracted much interest at the seminar – especially as Indonesian miners are looking for a professional solution for coal upgrading.

Following the seminar, the official opening ceremony of the PT Loesche Indonesia office took place, guided by Dr Georg Witschel, the German Ambassador, Dr Thomas Loesche and Mr Detlef Bluemke, Assigned Managing Director of PT Loesche Indonesia.
