Hazemag delivers equipment for Bim Son Cement, Vietnam
HAZEMAG has supplied a complete primary crushing plant for the new cement plant of Bim Son Cement Co. in Vietnam used for the raw material limestone. This plant is the largest impactor set up in the Vietnamese cement industry with a capacity of 1400 tph and apron conveyor for feeding the crusher.
The 13 m long apron feeder extracts the limestone from the feed hopper and then conveys it to the impactor. They are equipped with a hydraulic drive that provides infinitely
variable speed control. The heavy conveyor chains are hydraulically tensioned. A scraper chain conveyor is positioned underneath the apron feeder to collect spillage material.
The crusher is fitted with the patented Hazemag GSK-type rotor, an extremely robust, heavy-duty cast steel unit with a high mass moment of inertia, which enables the crusher to handle even the largest of rocks whilst maintaining peak capacity without affecting the rotor's performance. Thanks to its rugged construction, it is also relatively insensitive to the ingress of tramp metal. The one-piece blow bars can be turned and changed effortlessly using the special device provided.
The impact aprons and grinding path are hydraulically mounted and adjusted, whereby any adjustments necessary can be effected at the touch of a button. On entry of any tramp metal or during overloading of the crusher, the impact aprons retract with a controlled action, returning automatically and immediately to their pre-set position as soon as the situation returns to normal. This greatly reduces any damage hazard and guarantees a product of unvarying high quality with the presence of undesirable oversize being more or less ruled out. The crushing gap between impact aprons and blow bars can simply be re-adjusted to allow for progressive blow bar wear. Other distinguishing features of the crusher are its smooth running and low noise emissions.
The crusher housing is opened hydraulically, providing easy access to the internals and wear parts. In addition to its outstanding efficiency and safety of operation, the crusher is extremely easy to service and maintain.

In addition, Hazemag has supplied the facility with a complete clay crushing plant. In addition to the double-rotor hammer crusher designed for a capacity of 250 tph, an apron feeder is used for feeding the crusher.
Raw materials used are 50% weathered and 50% unweathered clay. For the best possible selection and equipment of the crusher, tests were carried out in the Hazemag test centre.
The apron feeder extracts the clay from the feed hopper and then conveys it to the hammer crusher. They are equipped with a variable speed drive that provides infinitely variable speed control.
The hammer crusher is equipped with a disc rotor, which is protected against wear by welded hardfacing. The hammers are suspended between the discs being able to swing. Crushing takes place between the hammers and the solid anvil, which is positioned in the centre between the rotors. After primary crushing, the clay passes the openings of the grate baskets located underneath the rotors. The size of the grate openings determines the final size of the material. The distance between the hammers and the grate baskets can easily be adjusted. The design of the drive vee-belt pulleys of the rotors is particularly heavy and solid with a high mass moment of inertia, which enables the crusher to handle even the largest rocks whilst maintaining peak capacity without affecting the rotor's performance.
Of particular importance is the easy-to-service design of the crusher. The hammers can easily be changed using the special device provided. The machine is easy to inspect due to large maintenance doors, which also make it possible to move the grate cage and the grate cage frame out of the crusher together on an assembly trolley. To optimise the accessibility of these components for maintenance purposes the grate basket can be removed from the main frame via a carriage.
