Chinese cement companies team up

China Resources Cement Holdings has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with fellow Chinese cement producer, BBMG Corp.
According to a company announcement released last month, the companies will “explore the Chinese and overseas markets”, as well as promoting the technological upgrade of the Chinese cement industry.
Under the agreement, the two companies will create a “market communications mechanism” through with they will share market information and experience in cement production, technology and business management. This will “allow the parties to learn from each other’s strengths.”
China Resources Cement Holdings is leading cement and concrete manufacture in southern China, while Beijing-based BBMG Corp. supplies building materials to China’s capital and surrounding Tianjin and Hebei provinces.
