Loesche supports clean water projects

World Cement,

Loesche is supporting Charity: Water, a not for profit organisation that carries out safe drinking water projects in developing countries. In 2011, Loesche donated to the charity and, after 1.5 years of planning and building work, the 347 strong community of Lutarupara-Molliktola in the Char region of Bangladesh has received a tube-well, providing residents with access to clean water and sanitation.

Scott Harrison, founder of Charity: Water, wrote a letter to Loesche thanking them for their support:
"It is hard to convey through a letter the significance of what you have done. The gift you have made will bring life, health, hope and dignity to people you have never met […] The change has now been realized, and thanks to you, the people of Lutarupara-Molliktola no longer have to drink water that makes them sick...".

Loesche also donated to Charity: Water in December 2012, this time for a project in Malawi, which is due to be completed next year.
