Loesche wins contract with Tanga Cement Company

Tanga Cement Company Limited, Tanzania, has awarded Loesche the order for two vertical roller mills. The order includes engineering and supply.
The mills are for raw material grinding and coal grinding. The raw material VRM will be an LM 41.4 with a capacity of 200 tph at a fineness of 15% R 90 µm. A rotary star feeder is included in the order. The coal mill is an LM 19.2 D with the capacity to grind 20 tph of coal to a fineness of 12% R 90 µm; it will be delivered will a coal screw feeder. Delivery of the mill key parts is scheduled for July of this year.
This is Loesche’s first order from Tanga Cement, which has been operating since 1980. Today the plant operates at 3000 tpd and trades under its brand name ‘Simba’ n the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange.
