Fives installs raw meal grinding plant at QNCC

French engineering group, Fives, has installed the raw meal grinding plant at Qatar National Cement Co.’s (QNCC) new cement production line. The installation was carried out ton 29 March 2017.
The raw meal grinding plant includes a 6.6 MW FCB-B mill. The raw mill shell weighs 198 t and its 17.2 m long and 6.4 m in diameter. The shell was moved and erected using a self-propelled modular transport.
The erection of the raw meal grinding plant follows the commissioning of two FCB B mills for cement grinding in January and February. The new production line will have a capacity of 5000 tpd.
