Dangote Cement set to sign contracts for multiple cement projects

According to reports, Dangote Cement will sign multiple contracts with Sinoma International Engineering Co. today for new cement plants across Africa. The contracts, worth US$4.34 billion, are for cement plants in Mali, Senegal, Cameroon, Niger, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia and Nepal.
Dangote Cement has expanded rapidly in recent years, building up nearly 50 million t of cement production capacity. These latest contracts would add a further 25 million t, according to reports.
The Nigerian cement producer is set to hold the official opening for its plant in Cameroon on 27 August.
