World Cement,

A delegation of CNBM International Engineering Co., Ltd visited Egypt from 22 December to 6 January to further develop its cooperation with the Egyptian government. The delegation held talks with officials such as Minister of Local Development Adel Labib, Minister of Environment Khaled Mohamed Fahmy and Governor of New Valley Mahmoud Abdul-Rahman Ashmawi Afifi; and conducted a survey on the development of and cooperation in projects such as renewable energy and urban solid waste disposal.

Egyptian government departments led the delegation to visit local production projects, investment projects and handicraft projects, and showed the delegation Egypt's investment opportunities and advantages in fields such as distributed power station, urban road lamp renovation and municipal waste disposal. The Egyptian government expects the two sides to cooperate in industries such as new energy, handicraft, mining, food, cement, glass and phosphate, and undertook to offer strong support.

The delegation said CNBM treasures the opportunity of cooperating with Egypt in economic fields, undertaking to establish major projects for promoting trade exchanges between the two countries and the economic prosperity of both countries.
