World Cement,
Société Saoura ciment has chosen a Gebr. Pfeiffer mill for its new cement production line, which will be set up in Zahana, Algeria. Although a competitor supplied the vertical roller mill for its first production line in 2015, the customer has selected Gebr. Pfeiffer’s innovative vertical mill technology for its second production line.
The mill will be an MVR 5000 R-4, and will grind 425 tph of cement raw material to a fineness of 12% residue 90 microns. The total drive power will be 3500 kW.
The feed material has a surface moisture of almost 13% and is dried easily while being ground in the mill.
The order was placed by the Chinese contractor CBMI.
