ASEC and AUC launch professional cement engineering programmes
Arab Swiss Engineering Company (ASEC) has finalised an agreement with Engineering and Science Services at the American University in Cairo (AUC), Egypt, to combine their knowledge and experience in the cement sector and management practices. The collaboration has led to the launch of three professional programmes in cement engineering, including production, mechanical maintenance and cement quality management. The programmes aim to provide engineers and chemists in the cement industry, as well as those aspiring to work in the sector, with a competitive edge via a globally recognised credential and mastery of best practices in cement engineering management.
Each programme comprises five technical courses and one managerial course. Registration opens in November 2013 and the first semester will begin in January 2014 at AUC.
