World Cement,
As part of the firing conversion to coal and petcoke, Fives has delivered a new FCB TSV™ Classifier to Suez Cement Company (Italcementi Group) in order to modernise a vertical ball mill and optimise the operation of the solid fuel grinding plant.
The contract included the basic engineering, detail design, equipment supply and site services.
Performance guarantee tests have been successfully carried out with a production capacity of 26.9 tph (dry), i.e. 17% increase from initial conditions.
In addition to the capacity increase, FCB TSV™ Classifier provides Suez Cement Co. with homogenous ground solid fuel and consecutive improved flowability and burnability.
