Oman Cement and Raysut Cement plan factory at Duqm

According to the latest report from Reuters, Oman Cement Company plans to set up a new cement plant in a joint venture with Raysut Cement Company and the government authority developing the country's Duqm special economic zone. Oman Cement announced the news in a statement on 16 August 2016.
Oman Cement also stated that the plant will be established in the near future if the results of detailed feasibility studies are positive. The company gave no further details.
