ASEC and Al-Minya Cement Company continue cooperation

The leading cement operator in Africa and the Middle East, ASEC, has announced the renewal of its technical management agreement with Al-Minya Cement Company. The agreement will now continue for a new term until 2021.
Located in upper Egypt, the state-of-the-art cement plant has an installed capacity of 1.95 million t of clinker. ASEC has been entrusted with the full technical management of the plant since the commencement of operation in 2013, with a scope spanning plant management, operation, maintenance, and optimisation. The company has noted that ASEC also served as a project consultant, supervising the construction, commissioning, and startup of the plant.
“The extension of Al-Minya Cement O&M contract stands as a testament to the successful partnership with our client,” said the Managing Director of ASEC. “Such partnership has been served well with our operational excellence and our quest for efficiency and process optimisation. We cherish the awarded trust and we are determined to take our success to a new level.”
ASEC for Engineering and Management provides the cement industry with a broad range of services, including engineering and consultancy services before and during construction, technical assistance, and full plant technical management and operation.
