Sinoma chooses Loesche for Tahama project
As reported last week, Saudi Arabia’s cement industry is booming. Today, Loesche has announced that it was selected by Sinoma to provide a VRM for raw material grinding at Southern Province Cement Company's Tahama plant. The LM 56.4 will grind 400 tph to a fineness of RMI 8% R0.09 mm and 1% residue on 212 µm. The mill motor capacity is 4000 kW.
In addition to the mill itself, Loesche will also deliver a metal detector, magnetic separator, slide gates and rotary valves below cyclones. FOB delivery is planned in October and December this year.
This announcement follows news of Loesche VRM orders in Peru, Turkey, Ecuador, China, India and Cameroon in recent months. To see the full scope of Loesche’s cement business over the past 12 months, check out the World Review in the July issue of World Cement, coming soon.
