After switching to Gebr. Pfeiffer technology for its Zahara plant, Société Saoura ciment has again chosen Gebr. Pfeiffer for its new cement plant in Bechar.
The customer ordered an MVR 5000 R-4 for cement raw material grinding for its greenfield plant, which will be set up near the border of Morocco. This increases the number of MVR mills sold to Algeria alone to four.
The mill has a total drive power of 3800 kW and will be grinding 350 tph of cement raw material to a fineness of a maximum 12% R 0.090 mm.
Delivery of the equipment is scheduled for 1H18.
