The plant also features a QCX quality control system, gas analysing equipment and air pollution control features. FLSmidth has further been contracted for operation and maintenance of the plant, comprising staffing of the plant, training of the staff and sourcing and inventory of spare parts and lubricants. Full details of FLSmidth’s work on the project can be found on the FLSmidth website.

The opening ceremony was attended by high profile figures, including Tunisia’s Minister in charge of Economic Affairs, the Minister of Industry and the Minister of Finance.
