Misr Cement Company awards two contracts to FLSmidth
FLSmidth has announced that it has won two contracts from Egypt’s Misr Cement Company (Qena) for the provision of equipment to a plant in Luxor that was originally supplied by FLSmidth. The plant is located some 45 km from Luxor. FLSmidth’s scope of supply includes an ATOX® coal mill, an OK® vertical cement mill, Pfister® weighing and dosing systems, MAAG Gear® reducers and Airtech filters.
“We are very happy to supply this additional equipment to an existing customer with whom we have cooperated since 1999. Our newly established Products & Upgrades group will be responsible for supplying the equipment – an offering which we are currently expanding,” said Per Mejnert Kristensen, President of the FLSmidth Cement Division.
