At the beginning of this year, Bedeschi was awarded a bauxite storage facility for Guinea Alumina Corporation, part of Emirates Global Aluminium in ABU DABHI by DTP Mining.
The plant is located in Kamsar (North of Guinea, Boke Region), and the scope of supply includes a stacker with a capacity of 3000 tph and a 420 m long storage belt conveyor. The commissioning phase was performed last September.
The stacker can handle bauxite both in dry and wet conditions, when the material becomes sticky due to the humidity. The material is stored in two stockpiles of 160 t each with the chevron method. The machine has a capacity of 3000 tph, a 42 m long boom, and a length of 1 400 mm.
Bedeschi offer a wide variety of tailor-made solutions to transport and store bulk material like coal, clay, iron ore, limestone, fertilizer, clinker, cereals and others, covering capacities from 100 to 10 tph.
