Prime Minister of Congo holds meeting with SINOMA

On 5 August 2015, the Prime Minister of Congo Mr. Matata hosted Mr. Song Shoushun, the chairman of Sinoma International. Mr. Matata met with Mr. Song Shoushun in his official residence, and had advanced talks with the member of delegations.

In the meeting, Mr. Matata listened to the presentation about the PPC-BARNET project contracted by Sinoma and recognised the progress of this project.

The EPC contract of the PPC-BARNET 3000t/d cement project was signed on 30 May 2014 and construction started on 10 July 2014. The contract period is 28 months. The project site is located in the City of Kimpese, about 270 km away from the capital, Kinshasa.

Having met with Mr. Matata privately, on 13 August Mr. Song Shoushun met with Mr. Meng Qinglin, the general manager of Sinoma Oversea Development Branch, Mr. Matata, and Mr. Mbadu, the governor of Bas-Congo province, at the project site of the PPC-BARNET 3000t/d cement production line.
