Work on Angolan cement plant project progresses
Portuguese news sources have reported that preliminary work on the Cimentos Nacionais Angola project has begun. Carried out in partnership with HeidelbergCement, the plant will have a capacity of 2 million tpa. The cement facility is based in Benguela, Angola. In an interview with Diário Económico, Galilei President Fernando Lima said that investment for the US$370 million cement plant has been secured by Heidelberg, Portugal’s Galilei and local partners.
