Enhancing burner pipe lifespan in cement plants

Burner pipes used to heat kilns are subjected to temperatures in excess of 1200°C. As such, it is not surprising that they have to be repaired or replaced so frequently.

But it does not have to be this way, says Wouter Garot, CEO of SILICON, whose innovative refractory anchor system can massively reduce the damage suffered by burner pipes. The result? Significantly lower costs for the cement industry, simply by extending the lifespan of burners.

In this white paper you will find out the key findings on this topic, including an estimation of the potential savings.
