Colombian contract for Gebr. Pfeiffer, Inc.
Gebr. Pfeiffer, Inc., a subsidiary of Gebr. Pfeiffer SE, is to provide Cementos Tequendama S.A., Colombia, with an MPS 140 BK coal mill. The new mill forms part of Cementos Tequendama’s plans to increase production capacity at its 300 000 tpa plant. With an initial investment of US$150 million, the cement plant in Suesca, Cudinamarca, came online in 2008.
The contract follows others recently awarded to Gebr. Pfeiffer, Inc. by cement manufacturers in the region, such as Cementos San Marcos.
