New Director, EH&S, for HarbisonWalker

HarbisonWalker International has announced that Thomas Raught has joined the company’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Group as Director, EH&S, effective 8 May 2017.
Raught is responsible for all environmental and safety activities across the company’s safety performance. He has significant experience in effectively leading safety programmes across several different companies, including a steel manufacturing plant. He was most recently with EQT Corporation as corporate safety director, responsible for managing all aspects of a company-wide safety programme.
“Safety and environmental compliance are not only a priority at HWI, but also a value that is instilled at every HWI manufacturing plant, global sourcing center, service facility, and customer site,” says Douglas Hall, senior vice president, Integrated Supply Chain, HarbisonWalker International. “Raught’s experience, leadership, and commitment to a safety culture will be a key aspect in our ability to continue to build upon the excellent safety performance we have achieved so far in 2017.”
