Ash Grove Cement’s Louisville plant is home to more than just cement making machinery and equipment.

Over 2000 animals being cared for by Nebraska Wildlife Rehab have resided in the building on the property just this year. Ash Grove Cement Company announced that its Louisville, Nebraska, plant manager signed an agreement extending the use of an on-site building to Nebraska Wildlife Rehab. The agreement provides the rescue centre with space at US$10 per year for the wildlife they receive. Ash Grove first made the building available to the organisation in 2010.

The 4500-square-foot building provides a facility for the staff and volunteers to manage the hotline and conduct animal rehabilitation, education, training and fundraising.
