4B Components has held the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art elevator bucket injection moulding plant on 16 May 2019, in Morton, Illinois. More than 150 customers, vendors, community leaders, and employees toured the facility, which features the new injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment, and tooling.
With over 250 000 buckets and 600 000 bolts in the plant, the 4B Group holds one of the largest inventories of elevator buckets and bolts worldwide.
The new injection moulding plant is located in a 45 000 ft2 facility that can produce 5000 buckets/day. The production plant is located at the same site as the sales, technical, and engineering departments, allowing the new facility to better meet the demands of their customers.
“The new facility enables a more efficient manufacturing process, increased capacity, and improved responsiveness to the demands of the agricultural and industrial markets,” said Johnny Wheat, President of 4B Components Ltd USA.
“Opening this new facility will bring better production control, improved logistics, and more flexibility,” said Nicholas Braime, CEO of 4B/Braime Group. “Most importantly, the facility shows our dedication to be better by design.”
